California American company has built a solar power plant, which can also use electricity at night using salt

In the middle of the American desert of Nevada , Solar Reserve , the company has put on 10 large mirrors and a power plant which is installed in the form of a circle . The center is 195 meters high tower . In a giant tank where the sunlight is concentrated on the tower is placed mirrors reflect the mixture of sodium nitrate and potassium salts . The concentrated heat to warm the light of the molten salts and impair the temperature is 565 degrees Celsius .

Warm mixture of molten salts is delivered through pipes down and moved to the special insulator (ansulytng) tanks. This salt can be stored on the same conditions and temperatures ranging from 10 to 12 hours. Salt is needed to heat the water heated by steam and the pressure created by steam turbines to produce electricity spun.

Solar Reserve

chief says Kevin Smith can make enough electricity from solar power plants that will be enough for 75,000 homes simultaneously. Salt heated by electricity the idea is not new. The techniques used to heat directly to the first salt in the solar power plant.

There are 2 methods to generate electricity from the sun. One of them is called Photos uultayks. It is used in solar cell / solar panel. While the other , solar thermal , concentrated under, sunglasses are a hot substances and the heat is used to produce electricity . Solar Reserve ‘s technology also ‘ solar thermal ‘ comes in the category of ( solar thermal ) .
